Do You Know About Our Senior Relocation Division?

November 06 2017

Mark’s Moving & Storage has a long history of managing the often sensitive circumstances involved in moving: a loved one is leaving her home for an assisted living residence, for example, or you’re responsible for the estate of a family member who passed away. Sometimes the situation requires a company that can work discreetly and patiently, and respect the privacy of you and your family.

Since 1979, we have been providing this level of service to customers in need. We know that moving can often be a difficult, emotional and overwhelming task. Our full-service approach and all-inclusive offerings are preferred by those navigating difficult personal situations. Our considerate staff understands the unique challenges involved with your move and will work closely with you during the entire process. That means you no longer have to worry about bending to lift boxes, calling multiple contractors or arranging several individual services.

We do it all for you so you can better focus on the needs of your family and loved ones.

Below is a summary of our services. Please call 1.800.966.MARK today to speak to a personal move manager and learn more about how Mark’s Moving & Storage can help.

Organization and Planning
Personal Move Manager | Reference Photos
To begin the relocation process, we assign a personal manager to handle all aspects of your move. Upon your request, we’ll take photos of each room in your home or office to be used as a reference later when all your items are unpacked and set up.

Create a Timeline
Schedule Relocation | Prioritize Tasks
Your personal move manager will work with you to create a detailed schedule, outlining all the tasks to be completed. In doing so, we’ll help you determine which tasks are the most important or urgent so we can make sure they’re completed in an efficient fashion.
Disposal and Donations
Remove Trash | Sell Unwanted Items
Cleaning out your home or office and preparing for a move can be a daunting task. We’ll help you sort through all your belongings and dispose of everything you no longer want or need. We can also arrange for their sale or donation.

Short/Long Term Storage
Heated Facility | Customer Access
If you have a temporary or permanent storage need, our heated and state-of-the-art facility has space to accommodate all your extra belongings. They will be stored securely by our experienced crew and diligently maintained by our full-time warehouse manager.

Art and Fragile Items | Experienced Packers
Our trained Pack Team can handle the most fragile of items, including crystal, china and artwork. Using the most protective materials, we take time and care to make sure all your items are safe and packed securely.

Local and Long Distance | International
With nearly 40 years in the industry, we can manage moves of all sizes and specificity. Consistently recognized as one of the region’s top moving companies, our staff will accommodate all your relocation needs, whether moving across town or overseas.

Furniture Placement
Interior Design | Attention to Detail
Once all your furniture arrives at your new home, our staff will help coordinate the interior design. We will work with you to accommodate your furniture location needs and preferences.

Unpacking and Putaway
Removal of Boxes | Organize Storage Areas
Your personal move manager will remain with you after the move, making sure that all boxes and packing material is removed. Our staff will also organize your storage areas and take care of any final tasks before you begin settling into your new home or office.
