Mark’s Moving & Storage Provides Services, Location to Benefit United Way ‘Warehouse Yard Sale’

June 12 2017

Mark’s Moving & Storage recently donated services and provided a location for the United Way of Tri-County‘s “warehouse yard sale,” a fundraising event held to benefit the charity. Mark’s Northeastern Furniture Foundation donated all the furniture and household goods sold at the event.

“We’re a long-time supporter of the United Way and the great work it does in the Metrowest community,” said Mark Silverman, president and CEO of Mark’s Moving and founder of the furniture foundation. “Through our company and the foundation, we were able to provide an excellent opportunity to help.”

Mark’s Moving has a long-standing relationship with the United Way of Tri-County, contributing to many of its events, helping increase furniture donations to its locations and supporting the charity’s local food pantry.

The United Way event occurred June 3-4 at 111 Milk Street in Westborough, the corporate headquarters of Mark’s Moving. Hundreds of pieces of donated furniture and household items were on display with much of it being sold by the end of the event.
